Hot Tubs & Swim Spas

Our Services

Hot tubs and swim spas are a major investment, with the initial cost to purchase and install one easily reaching $15,000 for a 4-6 person tub.

Once you've got it up and running you need to make sure that it's properly maintained so that you, or your guests, can enjoy all the benefits of a hot tub/swim spa.

The process of testing and adding chemicals to a hot tub can be overwhelming, especially if you have paying guests that will be using it.

Let our certified operators do the work for you to make sure that your hot tub or swim spa is ready when you, or your guests want to use it.

Our certified operators will not only ensure that your hot tub/swim spa is clean and ready to go, but their certification is also recognized worldwide so you, or your guests, have the confidence of knowing that an expert is looking after things for you.

Good Hot Tub Maintenance & Testing

1. Don't use test strips. They may be convenient, but they aren't the most accurate (even the best ones). Colourmetric test kits last about a year, if stored properly, and are much more accurate. If your current provider uses test strips you should wonder why they haven't invested in better testing equipment.

2. Some chemical adjustments take time to reach their full effect, as much as 24hrs. The amount of chemical required is based on the volume of water and the amount of 'change' required and needs to be calculated. Be patient, let the chemicals do their job.

3. Rinse your filter often. It is the workhorse of your hot tub/swim spa. 10 people in a hot tub is said to be equal to 2500 people in a swimming pool. Keeping you filter clean will make a big difference. Many manufacturers make reasonably priced filter cleaners that produce greatly results in as little as 30 minutes. Your filter will thank you.

4. More chlorine is not better. The right amount of chlorine, or bromine, is all you need (3-5ppm chlorine in a hot tub). Resist the urge to add more 'just in case.'
